The University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s soccer teams have received Team Academic Awards from the United Soccer Coaches (USC) for the 2024-25 academic year. The USC made the announcement on Monday.
The Penn women’s soccer program has now achieved this recognition for 25 consecutive years, which is the longest such streak among Ivy League schools.
Teams qualify for the USC Team Academic Award by maintaining a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or higher over the entire academic year. The GPA is calculated by totaling each player’s individual GPA and dividing by the number of players on the team.
