The University of Pennsylvania men’s golf team is in fifth place after two days of play at the Ivy League Championship, according to an April 25 update. The event is being held on the Lower Course at Baltusrol Golf Club and will conclude on Sunday.
The tournament, which spans three days and 54 holes, has seen Penn shoot a combined score of 612, or 36-over-par, through Saturday. Princeton leads the team standings with a total score of 589 (+13), just one stroke ahead of Harvard and fifteen strokes ahead of Columbia.
Junior Hayden Adams led Penn individually for the second consecutive day by shooting a 3-over-par 75. Adams stands tied for fourth overall with a two-day total of 146 (+2). Ryan Chang contributed with a round of 76 and is tied for seventeenth at ten over par. Kayden Wang (79) and Arjun Caprihan (83) were also among Penn’s scorers on Saturday.
At the top of the individual leaderboard are Harvard’s Barry Zhang and Princeton’s Reed Greyserman, both finishing Saturday at one under par (143). Greyserman shot a round-best 71 while Zhang carded a score of 74.
