Nine players from the Philadelphia Phillies have been named as nominees for the 2025 All-MLB Team, according to a ballot released by Major League Baseball on Monday. The All-MLB Team, established in 2019, recognizes top performers at each position during the regular season and includes both First and Second Team honors.
Voting for the All-MLB team is now open at MLB.com/AllMLB and will continue until October 10 at noon Eastern Time. The final selections will be announced on November 13 during the MLB Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.
Among this year’s nominees are Aaron Judge of the Yankees, Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers, and Juan Soto of the Mets, all seeking their fifth selection to an All-MLB Team. In total, forty-six players nominated have previously been selected for an All-MLB Team. Twenty of those were honored last year. This year’s ballot also features 101 former All-Stars—including 68 who participated in the 2025 All-Star Game—as well as several major award winners: eleven MVPs, three Cy Young recipients, fourteen Rookie of the Year honorees, four Reliever of the Year winners, and eight batting champions.
The structure of both the First and Second Teams includes one player each at catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, third base and designated hitter; three outfielders; five starting pitchers; and two relief pitchers. Only regular season performance is considered for these selections. Unlike other awards that divide players by league affiliation (American or National), the All-MLB Teams evaluate all players across Major League Baseball together.
“Fans can vote for the 2025 All-MLB team at MLB.com/AllMLB starting today until Oct. 10 at 12 p.m. ET,” MLB stated in its announcement.
The complete list of nominees covers every position including first base, second base, third base, shortstop, catcher, designated hitter, outfielders, starting pitchers and relief pitchers.
