On Saturday, Nov. 22, the California Vulcans, featuring former Northeast High School standout Naseem Wertz, secured a 27-24 victory over the Virginia Union Panthers in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The match was held at Hovey Field at 1 p.m., marking the first tournament meeting between the California Vulcans and the Virginia Union Panthers.

The California Vulcans are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 12 p.m. at Adamson Stadium.
