Robert Flores, Lauren Shehadi, and Mark DeRosa, known for hosting MLB Central on MLB Network since 2018, will serve as the broadcast team for the upcoming MLB Network Showcase Game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies. The game is scheduled to take place at Citizens Bank Park with a first pitch at 6:45 p.m. ET this Thursday. Jon Paul Morosi, an MLB Network insider, will join them as the broadcast’s reporter.

This marks the second time that Flores, Shehadi, and DeRosa have called a game together; their previous assignment was last August during a Phillies-Royals matchup on MLB Network.

“I feel like games are best in conversation form; that’s kind of what I learned from [last year’s broadcast],” said Shehadi.

MLB Central recently marked its 1,000th episode on June 26. The show has experienced growth in viewership, with an 11% increase in average audience numbers compared to 2024 as of August 20. The program airs weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon ET through the end of the World Series.
