Martina White, Pennsylvania State Representative for the 170th Legislative District in Northeast Philadelphia and leader of the House Republican Caucus, has recently highlighted her endorsements and community engagements through a series of posts on social media.
On May 4, 2026, White announced her endorsement from the Pennsylvania Young Republicans, stating, “I’m proud to earn the endorsement of the Pennsylvania Young Republicans. Young leaders are stepping up, getting involved and shaping the future of our communities. I’m grateful for their continued support and proud to stand alongside the next generation fighting for our”.
The following day, May 5, she participated in an event in Harrisburg marking a milestone for educational policy in Pennsylvania. She wrote, “Today in Harrisburg, I proudly stood with students, parents, and educators celebrating 25 years of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC). For more than two decades, this proven program has helped expand educational opportunities for families and children across”.
On May 6, White used her platform to recognize military service members. She posted: “Today please take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by all of our military as they work to keep our nation safe and free.”
White delivers public service by assisting residents with state programs in her district and serves as a member of the SEPTA board while having chaired the Liquid Natural Gas Task Force (official website). Elected during a special election in 2015 as the first new Republican from Philadelphia in over two decades (official website), she is known for advancing education funding initiatives such as EITC, public safety measures, and senior services. White holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elizabethtown College (official website) and is a lifelong resident of Northeast Philadelphia.
