Martina White, a Pennsylvania state legislator, highlighted recent legislative efforts to provide tax relief and support for working families and seniors in a series of posts on April 13 and 14, 2026.
On April 13, White stated, “I worked across the aisle to pass a Pennsylvania Earned Income Tax Credit because working families deserve tax relief. Now the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit is delivering nearly $193 million back into the pockets of nearly 1 million residents across our state.” She also shared an additional link related to this initiative later that evening: “https://t.co/jbjhTFv4Zn”.
The following day, White addressed support for seniors, posting on April 14: “No senior should be forced out of their home after a lifetime of hard work. That’s why I supported the largest bipartisan expansion of PA’s Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program in nearly 20 years, increasing rebates up to $1,000 and expanding eligibility to 175,000 more residents.”
Pennsylvania’s Earned Income Tax Credit was designed as part of broader efforts to alleviate financial burdens for low- and moderate-income workers by providing direct tax credits. The expansion of the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program marks one of the most significant changes in two decades, aiming to help more seniors remain in their homes by increasing both rebate amounts and program accessibility.
