On Saturday, Nov. 22, the California Vulcans, featuring former Imhotep Institute Charter High School standout Mikale Whitfield, secured a 27-24 victory over the Virginia Union Panthers in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The contest was held at Hovey Field at 1 p.m., marking the Vulcans’ first encounter with the Virginia Union Panthers during the tournament.

The California Vulcans are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 12 p.m. at Adamson Stadium.
