On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Northwood Timberwolves, featuring former Imhotep Institute Charter High School standout Corey Wright-Downing, were defeated 65-14 by the Ferris State Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game, held at Top Taggart Field at 1 p.m., marked the Timberwolves’ first encounter with the Ferris State Bulldogs in the tournament.
