Four Philadelphia Union players called up to U.S. youth national teams

Four players from the Philadelphia Union have been selected to participate in U.S. Youth National Team training camps in Spain during the October FIFA window. The club announced that goalkeeper Andrew Rick and forward Edward Davis III will join the U-20 Men’s National Team, defender Neil Pierre will be with the U-19 Men’s National Team, and Union II forward Malik Jakupovic has been called up to the U-17 Men’s National Team for camps taking place from October 6 to 15.

The U-20 Men’s National Team, coached by Rob Valentino, is set to train in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain. The team will play matches against Finland U-21 on October 10 and Elche B on October 14. Andrew Rick and Edward Davis III are among the 20 players named to this roster.

The U-19 Men’s National Team, led by Gus Teren, will hold its camp in Marbella, Spain. The squad is scheduled for games against Northern Ireland on October 11 and Belgium on October 14. Defender Neil Pierre represents Philadelphia Union on this roster.

Union II forward Malik Jakupovic has joined the U-17 Men’s National Team under coach Alex Aldaz. This group will also train in San Pedro del Pinatar and face teams from Netherlands (October 9), Northern Ireland (October 11), and Portugal (October 14).
