The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team hosted the 29th annual PRTC Keystone Classic on Sunday at the Palestra, where four Penn wrestlers secured individual titles in their respective weight classes.

Evan Mougalian (133 pounds), Cross Wasilewski (149), Jude Swisher (157), and Sean Seefeldt (165) each won championships. This marks the first collegiate titles for Mougalian, Wasilewski, and Seefeldt, while Swisher earned his second consecutive 157-pound title at this event.

Penn finished second overall as a team, accumulating 140 points. Other notable performances included Davis Motyka’s runner-up finish at 125 pounds, Deven Casey taking seventh at 133, Kelly Dunnigan finishing fourth at 149, Caden Bellis earning eighth at 174, and Martin Cosgrove placing fourth at 197. Junior John Vinciguerra made his collegiate debut in the tournament and achieved a 2-2 record at 285 pounds.

Mougalian had a strong showing with four wins to claim his title. He pinned Hofstra’s Gauge Shipp and Edinboro’s Amonn Ohl before defeating Lock Haven’s Gabe Strickland by major decision. In the final, he beat NCAA All-American Dylan Shawver from Rutgers with an 11-4 decision.

Wasilewski improved to a perfect season record of 10-0 by winning five matches during the tournament. His victories included technical falls over Michigan State’s Clayton Jones III and Edinboro’s Dominic Ferraro. He also defeated Drexel’s Patrick Kelly by major decision, Virginia Tech’s Collin Gaj in a close match, and Rutgers’ Andrew Clark in the final.

Swisher made his season debut by winning all his matches convincingly before pinning Jimmy Harrington from Harvard in the final.

Seefeldt competed in his first Keystone Classic at 165 pounds and posted victories against opponents from Franklin & Marshall, Virginia Tech, Harvard, and Virginia Tech again in the finals after extra periods.

The Quakers will return to action on Monday, December 22, when they host Virginia for a dual meet inside the Palestra.
