Four former Philadelphia Eagles players have advanced to the next stage in the selection process for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The Hall of Fame announced that 52 modern-era players remain under consideration, with the list of semi-finalists to be revealed in about five weeks.

Running back LeSean McCoy is among the nominees in his first year of eligibility. McCoy rushed for more than 11,000 yards during his NFL career. His most productive season was in 2013, when he led the league with 1,607 rushing yards—a franchise record at the time—and was named first-team All-Pro. McCoy played six seasons in Philadelphia and was selected to three Pro Bowls.

Cornerback Asante Samuel also advanced in the process. Samuel played four seasons with the Eagles, earning three Pro Bowl selections. Over his 11-year career, he started 133 games and twice led the league in interceptions and passes defended.

Another former Eagles cornerback, Troy Vincent, is on the list as well. Vincent was selected to five Pro Bowls during his eight seasons in Philadelphia. He recorded 28 interceptions, 10 forced fumbles, and six fumble recoveries with the team. Vincent led the league in interceptions in 1999 and in passes defended in 2001.

Running back Ricky Watters, who was a semifinalist for the Hall of Fame in 2025, is again under consideration. Watters made five consecutive Pro Bowls early in his career, including three with the San Francisco 49ers before joining the Eagles. He finished his career with 10,643 rushing yards and led the NFL in yards from scrimmage (1,855) in 1996 while playing for Philadelphia.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s process will continue, with further reductions to the list before final selections are made.
