Defenseman Ethan Samson of the Philadelphia Flyers will be sidelined for six to eight weeks due to an upper-body injury, according to General Manager Daniel Briere. In addition, defenseman Oliver Bonk, forward Karsen Dorwart, and forward Lane Pederson are all listed as day-to-day with upper-body injuries.

The team is set to play its third preseason game against the Washington Capitals tonight at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will take place at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Fans can watch the game on NBCSP+ or listen on 97.5 The Fanatic.
