The Flyers Alumni Association has announced the return of three events for 2026: Friday Night Fights – Celebrating Old Time Hockey, Flyers Alumni Charity Classic Weekend, and Flyers Alumni Fantasy Camp. These events aim to connect fans with former players and support local charities.

“We are thrilled to bring back this lineup of Flyers Alumni events,” said Brad Marsh, President of Flyers Alumni. “It is a great way for former players to interact with fans and to give back to the community that they once played for.”

Friday Night Fights will take place on March 6. The event features exclusive footage of notable fights involving Flyers players and their rivals, followed by live stories from alumni. More information is available at https://flyersalumni.net/friday-night-fights/.

From June 13-15, the Charity Classic Weekend will offer activities including a pickleball tournament, Walk.Run.Ride., and a golf tournament, with proceeds supporting causes in the Delaware Valley. Details can be found at https://flyersalumni.net/charity-classic-weekend/.

The Flyers Alumni Fantasy Camp returns August 14-17, bringing together participants from across North America for hockey instruction and camaraderie with alumni instructors. Registration details are at https://flyersalumni.net/main-events/.

In December, the association hosted its annual 12 Days of Giving campaign, donating to organizations such as Alex’s Lemonade Stand and St. Francis Inn. These contributions rely on participation in alumni events.

The Flyers Alumni Association marked its 40th anniversary in 2024. Since its founding, it has raised funds for Philadelphia-area nonprofits including Ed Snider Youth Hockey and Education and Team Foster.

The Philadelphia Flyers compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a professional ice hockey team based in Philadelphia since joining the league in 1967 during NHL expansion. The team plays home games at Wells Fargo Center and supports various community programs through outreach initiatives (official website). The organization has achieved notable milestones such as being the first NHL expansion team to win the Stanley Cup in the 1973-74 season.

Each alumni event requires separate registration at FlyersAlumni.net.
