FanDuel has partnered with SEPTA to restore full service on the Broad Street Line for the Philadelphia Eagles’ home opener on Thursday, September 4. The arrangement aims to provide fans with safe and efficient transportation to and from Lincoln Financial Field.

SEPTA will operate its regular subway schedule along with additional Sports Express trains before and after the game. Before kickoff, Sports Express trips will run every 10 minutes alongside local service. After the game, ten express and six local trains will be available at NRG Station over a period of about 70 minutes. SEPTA is advising fans to proceed directly to NRG Station after the game to secure a ride home.

The partnership includes FanDuel covering free rides home for all fans departing from NRG Station, starting at halftime and lasting until the end of service.

Don Smolenski, President of the Philadelphia Eagles, stated: “We appreciate FanDuel and SEPTA for collaborating to help provide Eagles fans with convenient transportation to-and-from our home opener. Their generous support will assist fans in getting to Lincoln Financial Field so that we can all enjoy the Championship Moment together as we take on the division rival Dallas Cowboys.”

Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel, said: “We know excited Eagles fans are making their travel plans to Lincoln Financial Field for tomorrow as they get ready to watch the team’s home opener. As an official team partner of the Eagles, we are proud to collaborate with SEPTA to make that planning easier by providing fans with free and reliable transportation after the game.”

Scott A. Sauer, General Manager of SEPTA, commented: “SEPTA is grateful to FanDuel for stepping up with this sponsorship to restore Sports Express service for the Eagles home opener. This is a challenging time for SEPTA and our customers, but this partnership will ensure that Eagles fans have safe, clean, and reliable service to-and-from the game – and with the added bonus of free rides home.”

The Broad Street Line provides direct access from Center City Philadelphia to Lincoln Financial Field. Fans can transfer easily from other transit options including buses, Regional Rail trains, Market-Frankford Line services, or PATCO.
