The Philadelphia Eagles have waived defensive lineman Gabe Hall from their 53-man roster. This move follows the team’s recent trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, in which the Eagles sent their 2026 fifth- and sixth-round draft picks in exchange for running back and kick returner Tank Bigsby.

In related roster changes, the Eagles released running back Montrell Johnson from the practice squad and added center/guard Jake Majors to that group. Hall joined the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2024 and spent last season on the practice squad. He made this year’s active roster and played five defensive snaps in a game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Jake Majors, who went undrafted from Texas, initially signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was waived with an injury designation at the end of August. Montrell Johnson participated in offseason activities with Philadelphia before being waived during final roster cuts. He rejoined the practice squad earlier this week.
