On the report day for Training Camp, the Philadelphia Eagles have made changes to their roster by signing defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and defensive tackle Jacob Sykes. In order to accommodate these new additions, the team has waived defensive end K.J. Henry and running back Lew Nichols.

Ogbonnia Okoronkwo is entering his seventh season in the NFL. Over his career, he has played in 80 games and achieved 17 sacks. Last season, he was with the Cleveland Browns where he participated in 16 games, starting five of them, recording 23 tackles and three sacks.

Jacob Sykes joins the Eagles from the United Football League’s San Antonio Brahmas. He began his college football journey at Harvard before transferring to UCLA. After going undrafted in 2023, Sykes signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent.

K.J. Henry joined the Eagles midway through last season while Lew Nichols arrived in Philadelphia in 2023. Both players primarily spent time on the practice squad last season and did not appear in any official games.
