The Philadelphia Eagles have signed defensive tackle Justin Rogers and released long snapper Christian Johnstone, according to a team announcement on August 12, 2025.

Rogers was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft. After being released during final roster cuts, he joined the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad. Later in the season, Rogers returned to the Cowboys’ active roster before being waived again. He then spent a brief period with the Seattle Seahawks before his release.

Rogers played college football at Kentucky and finished his collegiate career at Auburn.

Following Johnstone’s departure, Charley Hughlett remains as the only long snapper on the Eagles’ roster.
