Free agency for the Philadelphia Eagles is set to begin on March 11, with the 2026 NFL Draft scheduled for April 23. As the team concluded its 2025 season following a loss in the NFC’s Wild Card Weekend, players completed exit physicals and meetings with coaches at the NovaCare Complex before beginning their offseason.

While players focus on recovery, the Eagles’ front office and coaching staff are reviewing the past season and preparing for upcoming roster decisions. The organization expects to have up to nine draft picks in 2026, including four within the top 100 selections and six in the first four rounds.

Running back Saquon Barkley commented on the team’s outlook: “There’s a lot of things that we can learn from this year. I just have the utmost confidence in the leadership here, the guys, the team, the players, the coaches, from top to bottom, that we will get the thing back on track, and it just sucks that we’ve got to wait a little longer. But that’s part of the nature of this business, there’s only one team that wins, and there’s going to be 31 losers. So, we’ll move on, and you’ve got to get better.”

Defensive tackle Jordan Davis expressed his commitment: “I love this team. I love this program. They gave me an opportunity. They believed in me when nobody did. And I felt like it was my duty to be the best player I could be. And I’m still focusing on growth. This is not the best that I have been. This is not the best that I can be. So, I’m always scratching. I’m always clawing for that. The ceiling is the only thing that you can place upon yourself. If you feel like you have no ceilings, then you have no ceilings.”

Preparations for free agency and talent evaluation for potential draft picks are ongoing as part of efforts to improve all areas of their roster.

The Eagles finished as NFC Champions in 2022, lost in Wild Card playoff rounds in both 2023 and 2025 seasons but won a Super Bowl title in 2024.

Left tackle Jordan Mailata stated his objective for next season: “I want to come back and keep bringing championships back to Philly.”

The Eagles were established as a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia in 1933 after acquiring rights for their inaugural NFL season official website. Since then they have provided professional football games along with news coverage, media content, ticketing services and fan engagement activities official website. Their influence extends beyond Philadelphia through national games coverage and merchandising official website.

As preparations continue during this offseason period ahead of September’s kickoff for another campaign toward a championship run, anticipation builds among fans locally and nationally who follow through various channels provided by the official website.
