The Philadelphia Eagles lost their second straight game, falling to the Chicago Bears 24-15 at Lincoln Financial Field on Black Friday.

The game began with a defensive stand by the Eagles, stopping the Bears on fourth-and-one in their own territory. Byron Young made the tackle on DeAndre Swift near the line to gain. Despite this effort, Chicago opened the scoring later in the first quarter with a three-yard rushing touchdown by Swift, finishing an 11-play drive that covered 78 yards.

In the second quarter, Jake Elliott put Philadelphia on the board with a 44-yard field goal after a long catch-and-run from DeVonta Smith. The Bears responded with a 30-yard field goal by Cairo Santos after reaching the red zone but failing to score a touchdown.

Later in the half, Jalen Carter sacked Bears quarterback Caleb Williams to force a punt, giving Philadelphia possession before halftime.

Early in the third quarter, A.J. Brown caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts following key plays including Brown’s own 15-yard reception and Hurts’ 23-yard run. Elliott missed the extra point attempt, keeping Chicago ahead by one point.

Shortly after, Jalyx Hunt intercepted a pass at the line of scrimmage for his second interception of the season and returned it 15 yards into Chicago territory.

In the fourth quarter, Kyle Monangai extended Chicago’s lead with a four-yard rushing touchdown following an Eagles fumble on a Tush Push play. The Bears increased their advantage further when Cole Kmet caught a 28-yard touchdown pass. The Eagles answered late as A.J. Brown secured another touchdown reception but failed on their two-point conversion attempt.

Philadelphia now heads into a short break before facing the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football scheduled for December 8 at 8:15 PM EST.
