The Philadelphia Eagles released their estimated injury report on Tuesday following a walkthrough, after their recent victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Several key offensive players would have missed practice if it had been held as usual.
All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson continues to be sidelined with a foot injury sustained one month ago against the Detroit Lions. His backup, Fred Johnson, is also dealing with an ankle injury and would not have participated in practice. Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson is out due to a calf injury that limited him last week. Running back Saquon Barkley suffered a stinger during Sunday’s win and would have missed practice as well.
The Eagles listed the following players as not participating: “RB Saquon Barkley (Stinger), DT Jalen Carter (Shoulders), G Landon Dickerson (Calf), T Fred Johnson (Ankle), T Lane Johnson (Foot), TE Cameron Latu (Stinger).”
Running back Tank Bigsby was listed as having limited participation because of illness. Full participation was noted for linebacker Zack Baun (hand), outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips (knee), and tackle Cameron Williams (shoulder).
The team clarified that this report is based on estimations since only a walkthrough was held.
On the opposing side, the Washington Commanders are preparing for Saturday’s game without quarterback Jayden Daniels, who remains out due to an elbow injury. Marcus Mariota will start in his place. The Commanders may also be without left tackle Laremy Tunsil, who did not practice Tuesday after suffering an oblique injury during Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. Brandon Coleman replaced Tunsil during that matchup.
Wide receiver Noah Brown has been placed on Injured Reserve following a rib injury from Sunday’s game and does not appear on this week’s report. Defensive tackle Eddie Goldman missed practice due to a concussion sustained in the second half of Sunday’s contest.
Linebacker Bobby Wagner did not participate as part of his usual rest schedule but was also listed with a knee issue.
Other Commanders who did not participate include: “DT Eddie Goldman (Concussion), OLB Von Miller (Rest), DT Daron Payne (Rest), T Laremy Tunsil (Oblique), LB Bobby Wagner (Knee/Rest), TE Colson Yankoff (Ankle).” Quarterback Jayden Daniels had limited participation due to his elbow injury, while several others were full participants.
