The Philadelphia Eagles have released guidance for fans attending Thursday’s home opener at Lincoln Financial Field, citing ongoing uncertainties regarding SEPTA service.

Ticket holders are advised to arrive early and allow extra travel time to the stadium. The team recommends that all fans be inside Lincoln Financial Field by 7:45 PM.

Parking accommodations will begin earlier than usual, with all lots in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex opening at 1:30 PM. The Eagles are encouraging carpooling where possible.

Fans are also asked to consolidate tailgates within their designated parking spots to maximize available spaces. “This can be done by arranging a tailgate setup in front of or behind the parked vehicle within the painted white lines of the parking spot,” according to the team’s statement.

Those without game tickets are urged not to travel to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, and instead make plans to watch the game elsewhere with family or friends.

Due to SEPTA operating on limited service, fans relying on public transportation should monitor updates as routes may change. Information is available at https://www.septa.org/news/eagles-game/.

“The Philadelphia Eagles thank everyone for their cooperation and support.”
