The Philadelphia Eagles are set to face the Denver Broncos today at 1 PM at Lincoln Financial Field. The game will be televised regionally on CBS.
The Eagles enter the matchup with a strong record, having achieved the second-highest winning percentage in the NFL since 2022, only behind Buffalo. The team has also secured 12 consecutive home victories, setting a new record for Lincoln Financial Field since it opened in 2003.
Head Coach Nick Sirianni continues to make history with his performance. He holds the fourth-best all-time winning percentage among NFL coaches and is one of only three coaches to start three seasons at 4-0 within their first five years, alongside Paul Brown and George Halas.
On defense, Quinyon Mitchell stands out as he leads all NFL cornerbacks in completion percentage allowed and is tied for third in passes defended this season. Mitchell recently became the youngest Eagles player since at least 1999 to defend five passes in a single game during a win against Tampa Bay.
The Eagles have reached a 4-0 start for the eighth time in franchise history and for the third time in four years. They have won 20 of their last 21 games, including playoffs—a franchise best over such a span—and matched their record of ten straight wins twice within the past year.
Special teams have contributed notably with three blocked kicks—two returned for touchdowns—in just two weeks. Philadelphia is also one of only two NFL teams since at least 2000 to be perfect on red zone opportunities through four weeks.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts has scored nine total touchdowns this season, ranking him tied for third across the league and giving him one of the best touchdown-to-turnover ratios so far. Linebackers Zack Baun and Jihaad Campbell are unique as an NFL duo this season by both surpassing twenty tackles while each recording at least one interception and forced fumble.
Tight end Dallas Goedert leads his position group with a high catch rate, tying his career best with two touchdown receptions last week. Offensive tackle Jordan Mailata ranks highly among tackles for overall and run-block grades according to Pro Football Focus (PFF). Rookie Cooper DeJean also ranks near the top among cornerbacks based on coverage grade from PFF after defending three passes last Sunday against Tampa Bay.
Wide receiver DeVonta Smith is notable for making eight catches on third down—fourth most in the league—with an impressive catch rate on crucial downs that leads all receivers.
