The Philadelphia Eagles have added defensive tackle Gabe Hall back to their practice squad. Hall, who was waived earlier in the week, cleared waivers and rejoined the team on Thursday.

To make room for Hall’s return, the Eagles released defensive tackle Jacob Sykes from the practice squad. Hall joined the Eagles as an undrafted free agent from Baylor in 2024 and spent last season on the team’s practice squad. This year, he made the active roster after training camp and participated in five defensive snaps and four special teams snaps during a game against the Cowboys.

Jacob Sykes was originally signed by the Eagles on July 22. He remained with the team through preseason before being waived at roster cutdown. He was re-signed to the practice squad on Wednesday before being released to accommodate Hall’s return.
