The Philadelphia Eagles announced their list of inactive players ahead of their game against the Los Angeles Rams. The team elevated safety Marcus Epps and tight end Cameron Latu from the practice squad on Saturday.

The Eagles’ inactives include outside linebackers Azeez Ojulari, Ogbo Okoronkwo, and Patrick Johnson; quarterback Tanner McKee; running back Will Shipley; center/guard Drew Kendall; and guard Kenyon Green. This marks the first time this season that Patrick Johnson is inactive after joining the 53-man roster following Week 1.

With Johnson, Ojulari, and Okoronkwo out, the available edge rushers for the Eagles are Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt, Za’Darius Smith, and Joshua Uche. Ojulari, Okoronkwo, Kendall, and McKee are inactive for a third consecutive game. McKee will serve as the team’s emergency third quarterback due to a right thumb injury that limited his participation in practice.

Dallas Goedert returns to play after missing last week’s game because of a knee injury. Cameron Latu continues to fill in at fullback for Philadelphia after making his NFL debut against Kansas City. Latu played six offensive snaps in Week 2 and contributed with blocking and special teams performance.

Marcus Epps will participate in his third game of the season. According to league rules, he must be signed to the 53-man roster if he is to play again next week.

Will Shipley remains sidelined with an oblique injury but has shown progress by being a limited participant during Thursday and Friday practices.

For the Rams, defensive end Braden Fiske (oblique) is active after being listed as questionable. He did not practice earlier in the week but participated on a limited basis Friday. Tight end Colby Parkinson (shoulder), also questionable before the game, is active as well.

Starting left guard Steve Avila is inactive for Los Angeles. Justin Dedich will start in his place. The Rams’ list of inactive players includes outside linebacker Nick Hampton; quarterback Stetson Bennett IV; tight end Terrance Ferguson; offensive tackle D.J. Humphries; and left guard Steve Avila.

“Dallas Goedert (knee) returns to action after missing last week’s game.”

“Latu, who made his NFL debut against the Chiefs, will continue to play fullback for Philadelphia.”

“Epps will play his third game of the season, meaning he must be signed to the 53-man roster to play in Week 4.”

“Will Shipley (oblique) is missing his second consecutive game, although he made progress by being a limited participant on Thursday and Friday.”

“Defensive end Braden Fiske (oblique), who was listed as questionable, is active for Week 3.”

“Tight end Colby Parkinson (shoulder) is active after being questionable heading into the game.”

“Starting left guard Steve Avila is inactive. Justin Dedich will start in his place.”
