The Philadelphia Eagles will play without starting cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, who is inactive due to a groin injury for their upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team’s full list of inactives includes wide receiver Xavier Gipson, quarterback Sam Howell (listed as the emergency third quarterback), center/guard Drew Kendall, and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari.

With Jackson unavailable, Kelee Ringo is expected to start at cornerback opposite Quinyon Mitchell. Although Ringo has mainly played on special teams this season, he has accumulated 311 defensive snaps during his NFL career.

Backup quarterback Tanner McKee is active for the first time this season after recovering from a right thumb injury that kept him out of the first three games. Sam Howell will serve as the Eagles’ emergency third quarterback.

Running back Will Shipley returns after missing two games with an oblique injury and participated fully in practice throughout the week.

Earlier in the week, the Eagles placed outside linebacker Nolan Smith, cornerback Jakorian Bennett, and wide receiver Darius Cooper on Injured Reserve. As a result, outside linebacker Ogbo Okornkwo and cornerback Parry Nickerson are set to make their debuts with the team against Tampa Bay. Outside linebacker Patrick Johnson will also return after being inactive last week.

For Tampa Bay, quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder), tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee), and wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) are all active despite being listed as questionable before the game. Both Wirfs and Godwin are making their season debuts. Wide receiver Mike Evans is inactive due to a hamstring injury; Godwin joins Sterling Shepard and rookie Emeka Egbuka among available receivers.

The Buccaneers’ full list of inactives includes defensive lineman C.J. Brewer, wide receiver Mike Evans, safety Christian Izien, cornerback Kindle Vildor, and running back Josh Williams.
