The Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants released their estimated injury reports on Monday ahead of their Thursday night game. Both teams did not hold practices but were required to submit reports due to the short week.

For the Eagles, tight end Grant Calcaterra (oblique) and guard Landon Dickerson (ankle) would not have participated in practice after leaving Sunday’s game against the Broncos early with injuries. Running back Saquon Barkley was also listed as a non-participant because of a knee injury. Barkley scored on a 47-yard touchdown reception in Sunday’s game, which was the longest by an Eagles running back since Darren Sproles’ 73-yard play against Pittsburgh in 2016. Barkley was present for the game’s final offensive play.

Linebacker Nakobe Dean, who recently returned to practice, would have been a full participant with his knee injury but remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

The rest of the Eagles’ report included linebacker Jihaad Campbell (biceps) and defensive tackle Byron Young (triceps), both limited participants.

For the Giants, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart would have been limited due to a hamstring issue. Dart started his second consecutive game Sunday, throwing for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 55 yards. Wide receiver Darius Slayton, who has become one of Dart’s main targets following Malik Nabers’ season-ending knee injury, would not have practiced because of a hamstring injury. Slayton caught three passes for 31 yards last week.

Starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor was also listed as a non-participant due to a back problem after playing every snap in Sunday’s loss to New Orleans. The Giants’ top three safeties—Dane Belton (shoulder), Jevon Holland (calf), and Tyler Nubin (groin)—were all limited participants on Monday.

Other players on the Giants’ report included linebacker Swayze Bozeman (ankle) and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring), both as non-participants; cornerback Dru Phillips (hip) and running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) were listed as limited participants.

“Monday’s Injury ReportThe Eagles were back to work at the NovaCare Complex on Monday as they have a quick turnaround ahead of Thursday night’s prime-time matchup against the New York Giants.”

“Although the team did not hold a practice, the Eagles were required to provide an estimated injury report.”

“Tight end Grant Calcaterra (oblique) and guard Landon Dickerson (ankle) would not have participated in practice on Monday. Both players left Sunday’s game against the Broncos early due to injury.”

“Running back Saquon Barkley also would not have practiced on Monday due to a knee injury. Barkley scored on a 47-yard touchdown reception, the longest such play by an Eagles running back since Darren Sproles (73 yards vs. Pittsburgh) in 2016. Barkley was on the field for the game’s final offensive play, quarterback Jalen Hurts’ last-second heave into the end zone that fell incomplete.”

“Linebacker Nakobe Dean, who returned to practice for the first time this season last week, would have been a full participant on Monday with his knee injury. He remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list.”

“Like the Eagles, the Giants did not have practice on Monday, but three offensive starters were listed on the estimated injury report.”

“Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, the first-round pick who has started the past two games, would have been limited with a hamstring injury. Dart threw for 202 yards with two touchdowns, two interceptions, and a lost fumble in Sunday’s loss to the Saints, while also rushing for 55 yards on the ground.”

“One of Dart’s top targets, now that wide receiver Malik Nabers is out for the year with a knee injury, in wide receiver Darius Slayton would have missed Monday’s practice with a hamstring injury. Slayton had three catches on six targets for 31 yards while playing 55 snaps against New Orleans.”

“Starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor would also have missed practice with a back injury. Elemanuor played all 73 snaps on Sunday.”

“Defensively, the Giants’ top three safeties – Dane Belton (shoulder), Jevon Holland (calf), and Tyler Nubin (groin) – would all have been limited on Monday due to injury.”
