The Philadelphia Eagles have made changes to their roster ahead of their final preseason game against the New York Jets. The team announced the signing of defensive end Jereme Robinson and the placement of wide receiver Johnny Wilson on Injured Reserve.

Robinson, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 263 pounds, joined the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Chicago Bears after the 2025 NFL Draft. He was recently with the New England Patriots but was released on August 19. During his time with New England, Robinson played two snaps on special teams in a preseason game against Minnesota. He will wear jersey number 78 for the Eagles.

Robinson played college football for Kansas, appearing in 53 games and recording 98 tackles along with 14 sacks.

Wide receiver Johnny Wilson sustained knee and ankle injuries during a Training Camp practice earlier in the week. In his second year, Wilson had three receptions for 73 yards in this year’s preseason opener, including two notable catches in a win over Cincinnati. Known for his toughness and blocking ability, Wilson participated in 354 snaps as a rookie after being selected in the sixth round from Florida State. Last season he caught five passes for 38 yards and scored one touchdown.

“Praised for his toughness and blocking on the perimeter, the 6-foot-6 Wilson was on the field for 354 snaps as a rookie sixth-round pick out of Florida State, recording five catches for 38 yards and a touchdown.”
