Tuition and fees rose 2.4 percent for 2018-19 at Drexel University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $53,244 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,242 more than the $52,002 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 3,259 students received grants or scholarships totaling $99.3 million and 2,000 students took out student loans totaling more than $21 million.

Including all undergraduates (24,634), 12,946 students used grants or scholarships totaling $307.3 million, and 7,689 students took out $58.1 million in federal student loans.
