Abhinav Rastogi, Executive Vice President of Temple University Health System and President and CEO of Temple University Hospital, has been named among the 95 academic medical center CEOs to know by Becker’s Hospital Review. The recognition highlights Rastogi’s leadership in expanding system operations, including overseeing the acquisition of Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital. He also led efforts to introduce new services and opened a modern infusion center aimed at providing more accessible care from both Temple Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center.

According to Becker’s Hospital Review, “Rastogi was recognized for his work driving system growth through the acquisition of Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital, launching new services, and opening a modern infusion center that brings Temple Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center care closer to patients.”

Recently, Temple University Hospital announced it would stop offering Labor and Delivery services at its Main Campus as of September 3. All childbirth services have been relocated to a new hospital location. The hospital has also issued an alert about significant cuts to public transit options that may impact travel to and from its campuses.
